A case report: Multimodal Imaging Characteristics of Quiescent Type 1 Neovascularization in Best Vitelliform Macular DystrophyJale Menteş, Mine Esen BarisEge University, Department of Ophthalmology, IzmirIn this case report of a 38 year-old male patient with bilateral Best vitelliform macular dystrophy (BVMD) diagnosis, bilateral quiescent type 1 neovascularizations (NV) detected by optical coherence angiography (OCTA) and their multimodal imaging characteristics were presented. It was emphasized that in eyes with BVMD, this kind of quiescent and asymptomatic NV might be present in every stage of the disease while OCTA was found to be superior to other imaging methods.
