In this report, by reviewing the literature, we present a case of 70 year old male patient with the neuroendocrine carcinoma of the larynx which has been diagnosed and treated in our hospital.

Neuroendocrine carcinomas of the larynx are very rare tumors. These tumors can be seen as gray whitish or light brown masses varying in size from small polyps to extensive
lesions. Microscopically pleomorphism, mitotic activity and necrosis can be seen. Immunohistochemistry shows characteristic positive staining with chromogranin-A and neuron spesific enolase (NSE). Most of the cases are male and intense smokers. Clinical course is agressive due to extensive local lymphatic and distant metastases and mortality rate is 50 %.
