Autogenous bone grafts from the ilium are frequently harvested for several purposes in orthopedic surgery. In this technique, some donor site complications may be unavoidable. Herniation of abdominal contents through the incision is a rare complication of the technique. We present the case of a 70-year-old female with an abdominal hernia through a peritoneal
perforation after bone graft harvesting for tibial pseudoarthrosis.
