Ekstradigital yerleşimli glomus tümörü olgusu

Glomus tümörleri nadir olarak görülen, glomus cisimciklerinden köken alan selim tümörlerdir. Glomus tümörleri viseral organlardan gelişebilir fakat en sık deride görülür. Lezyonlar genellikle distal ekstremitelerde yer alan küçük, mavi-kırmızı renkli papül ve nodüllerdir. En sık görülen lokalizasyon subungual bölge olup, el, ayak ve gövde gibi lokalizasyonlar nadirdir. Biz de burada ön kola yerleşim gösteren sadece palpasyon ile ağrısı olan bir glomus tümör olgusunu sunuyoruz. Ekstradigital glomus tümörlerinin kesin tanısını koymak ilk başvuruda zordur. Ağrılı tümörler vücudun hangi bölgesinde gelişirse gelişsin ayırıcı tanıda glomus tümörlerinin unultulmaması gerektiğini vurgulamak istiyoruz.

Glomus tumors are rare, benign tumors originated from glomus bodies. Glomus tumors may occur visseral organs but they are most frequently seen on the skin. The lesions are small, blue-red papules or nodules which are usually located on the distal extremities. Although the most common location is subungual area, extradigital locations such as hand, foot and trunk are very rare. Here, we report a case of glomus tumor on the forearm, with point tenderness. The accurate diagnosis of extradigital glomus tumors is very difficult on the first examination. We want to emphasize that glomus tumors should not be forgotten in the differential diagnosis of painful tumors which develop any part of the body.
