CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT IN ESOPHAGEAL RUPTURE

Cerrahi ServisiOesophageal perforation, is a rare condition, can be caused by external trauma, or instrumentation, or foreign body. A spontaneous form of the rupture is named as Boerhaave syndrome. Because of the protected location of oesophagus, its perforation is generally associated with other organ injuries. Conservative therapy is one of the modalities treatment is proposed. In these papers, a patient with a traumatic oesophageal perforation is reported. He is treated by conservative therapy and additional irrigation that haven't been found in the literature. The patient is cured without any complication.
