Preeklampsi varlığında PRES –SVT birlikteliği-bir olgu sunumu

Postpartum dönemde görülen klinik durumlar; başağrısı, nöbet, fokal nörolojik defisitler, bilinçte dalgalanmalar, görsel yakınmalar (görme bulanıklığı, görmede azalma, görme alanı defektleri ve kortikal körlük ) şeklindedir.
31 yaşında bayan hasta, 37 haftalık gebe olup; başağrısı, bulantı, kusma, nöbet geçirme ve bilinçte uykuya eğilim ve tansiyon yüksekliği nedeni ile değerlendirildi. Olgunun çekilen Kranial Magnetik Rezonans Görüntüleme, Angio-Venografi incelemesi hem Posterior Reversible Ensefalopati Sendromu hem de Sinüs Venöz Trombozu ile uyumlu bulundu.
Sonuç olarak, tedavileri farklı olduğu için postpartum dönemde görülen başağrısı ve/veya fokal defisitler ve nöbet olması durumunda iki klinik tanının birlikte görülme olasılığı da akılda tutulmalıdır.

Association of PRES with SVT in the presence of pre-eclampsia: a case report

Clinical findings during the postpartum period include headache, seizures, focal neurological deficits, fluctuation in conscious, and visual complaints (blurred vision, reduced visual acuity, visual field defects, and cortical blindness).
A 31 years old woman was pregnant at 37th gestational week and evaluated for her findings of headache, nausea, vomiting, seizure, tendency to sleep and hypertension. Cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was found to be consistent with posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome as well as venous sinus thrombosis.
In conclusion, since their treatment are distinct, possibility of presence of both clinical diagnoses should be kept in mind in the case of headache and/or focal deficits and seizure occurring during the post-partum period.
