Omphalomesenteric duct anomalies in neonate: Case reports

In this article, we present two term neonates with diagnosis of omphalomesenteric duct anomalies and Meckel's diverticulum. One of these neonates was hospitalised due to the indirect hyperbilirubinemia and then omfalitis was observed in this case. Umbilical hemorrhage was observed in the second neonate in the routine neonatal examination. Omphalomesenteric duct anomalies should be suspected in the case of omphalitis and umbilical cord bleeding in the neonatal period.

Bu yazıda indirekt hiperbilirubinemi ve rutin yenidoğan muayenesi nedeniyle hastaneye başvuran, ancak muayenelerinde omfalit ve göbekten kanama tespit edilerek omfalomezenterik kanal açıklığı ve Meckel divertikülü tanıları konulan iki yenidoğan olgusu sunuldu. Yenidoğan döneminde omfalit ve göbekten kanama bulgusu olan olgularda omfalomezenterik kanal anomalileri ayırıcı tanıda akılda tutulmalıdır.
